The material feels exactly the same, the scrunch is not quite as gathered and my booty doesnt pop quite as good as the originals. The scrunch seam is also a tad thicker(not much) but Im sure it makes them less likely to rip. They are a tad longer in length. The waist band is a little more compressive than the the originals, which for me is a downfall as I need a little more stretch. Im hoping it will stretch a little after I wash and wear them, so Im not too worried. One other difference is the distance from waist to the crotch is a little longer in these than the original.

The fabric is super soft and stretchy, yet compressive and squat proof. They didnt roll or budge during a leg/lower body workout.
